Murrow’s Transfer Steps up to Aid Tornado Victims

Murrow’s Transfer announced this week their plan to aid tornado victims in Mississippi by offering to collect and deliver donated items via their trucks. They are urging people across the Triad to donate these much-needed supplies so they can start deliveries immediately. They are asking folks to bring the following necessities…

  • Water
  • Non-perishable food (if canned goods, please include can opener)
  • Paper goods (toilet paper, paper plates, tissue, paper towels)
  • Cleaning supplies
  • Personal Hygiene products
  • Baby supplies (diapers, wipes, formula)

“The folks of Mississippi have been good to us” Said C. W. Dillon, president of Murrow’s Transfer “Now, we want to try to pay them back. This storm was devastating and some of these people lost everything. If you bring us something to help, we promise to get it to them”

The drop-off point is the Murrow’s Transfer terminal at 1660 Blair Street, Thomasville, NC 27360. They will be accepting donated items from 8 am to 6 pm, Monday through Friday, until Wednesday, April 6th. The shipment will arrive in Mississippi the next day, Thursday, April 6th.
